Will The Antibiotic Affect Microgynon And Azithromycin ?

I took 1 dose of 4 tablets of azithromycin on the Friday, then started the birth control pill microgynon 30 on Monday, will the antibiotic affect my pill and for how long do i need to use another type of protection?

Yes it may affect the efficacy of pill by inducing liver enzymes which degrade the pills. Please use an alternate contraception for one week.
