Will The Bleeding Of A Little Blister On The Chest Stop Itself ?

My son had a little blister come up on his chest this week. It really looked like dried blood that came through the skin no accident that I am aware of. He might have scratched it but now is bleeding steady? Will it stop or should I be more concerned.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
If its bleeding, you may do a pressure bandage over the lesion to control bleeding. If bleeding has stopped and a slight crust has formed, avoid removing the crust. frequent and persistent removal of crust would cause the lesion to bleed. To help it heal fast, apply topical antibiotic cream like mupirocin or fusidic acid daily. In few days time, it should heal.
Hope this helped.
Take care
