I was cleaning out some old boxes of clothes, I came upon orange mold, I disposed of the clothing with the mold and washed my hands and left the room. The exposure was only momentary but I am afraid it could be bad as I am 5 weeks pregnant. My nose instantly began to run and my throat was scratch, it was alleviated when I left the room with the box, will this harm my baby?
Please do not worry. The symptoms that you experienced were more likely due to an allergy to the dust that was relieved once the exposure was removed.
If there are no symptoms now, there is no need to worry.
