Will The Hypothyroid Patient Experience Hemorrhoids Problem?
i was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 6 months ago. I was prescribed 50 mcg of synthroid. I had levothyroxin since that was available in the pharmacy, and my doctor had okayed any generic medication. For the first few months i was fine but since the last month I am experiencing sleeplessness and fatigue. I will get my bloodwork done now. My question is do people with my condition experience hemorroids problems?
Constipation is one of the commonest symptoms of hypothyroidism. Excessive straining at stools can give rise to haemorrhoids. Also, haemorrhoids can be independent of the thyroid problem. Please get your blood investigations done at the earliest.
