I am entering into the Marines tomorrow. I have a bad case of Poison Sumac - I am using Aveno baths and caladryl lotion on the rash itself. I was given a script for Prednisone but am afraid to take it for fear of failing a blood test tomorrow at indoctrination....

Prednisone can influence some tests. This medication will influence especially allergy tests and tuberculosis tests which will be invalid. It also can increase your cholesterol levels in a blood cholesterol test.
