Will There Be Any Side Effect If The Medication Dosage Of Celexa Is Increased?
Hi, I am currently taking 20mg of celexa for depression and will be increasing to 30mg for a week and then increasing to 40mg. I suffered for approx. 6 week when I started taking celexa and I am curious if I will once again experience the same type of side effects with the increase.
Hello, Thank you for the query. You are taking celexa which contains cetalopram which is an anti depreesant medicine of class SSRI.This medicine does show side effects which may include nausea, drowsiness, lack of sleep, frequent urination and also some others. If u increase the dose of the medicine then there chances that you may have side effects but your duty is to tell your doctor if you get any problem with the medicine so that he may think of better options. Hope this helps.Thank you.
