Hello Thyroid hormones in pregnancy should be addressed well. The baby in your womb is very much dependent on you in the initial 4 months for its thyroxine requirements Therefore you should increase the dose of thyroxine by 30% soon after you are diagnosed o be pregnant. Thyroid hormone is very essential for the brain development mostly ex utero. But higher TSH level (the cut off > 2.5 in first trimester and >3 in the third trimester) is aasociated with higher incidence of abortions in the early trimesters and later is associated with mild decrease in IQ of the baby. HMG injection is unlikely to affect thyroid status of mother and hcg can increase the thyroid hormone levels in blood. But there is no contraindication for hmg or hcg infection
