Will Trying For A Baby Work Now?

I had implanon removed 18th may, then started a period, I m assuming, on the 19th may for about 4 days. I then started a period again on the 20th June and today it s gone. Me and my partner are trying for a baby and I m wondering if my period only lasted a couple of days will that change my ovulation days in July ?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The period that lasts one more day will not likely affect your period. If you stop the Implanon contraception most likely you may need several months for your fertility to come back. Keep trying and hoping.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka, General & Family Physician
