With No History Of Miscarriages, What Is The Need For Duphaston Intake?
Hi Dr. Mia Lundi,
I am 35 yrs old and 14 weeks pregnant and worried about having taken the tablet Duphaston 10mg for 2 weeks(from 13 th week till the end of 14th week). My Gynecologist did not test me for any hormone level before advising me the tablet. I do not have any history of miscarriage. I read in the article that Duphaston has side effects on the fetus. I am too much worried. Please advice.
Hello. Thanks for writing to us. Duphaston is recorded in pregnancy only if there is an evidence of progesterone deficiency. You can get your hormone levels evaluated before starting it. I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
