My health insurance wont cover NAME BRAND YAZ for me. I have been taking it for several years for PMDD. They want me to go to generic. I took generic last month and had flu like symts and acne breakout. my dr has written letter to ins and they still wont cover. My problem is this.... What are the "withdrawal" symtoms when you are coming off the yaz?
This medication works by preventing ovulation (the release of an egg from an ovary) and by causing changes in the mucus of the cervix.
common side effects are-
*Absence of Menstrual Periods *Irregular Periods *Bleeding Not Related to Menstrual Period *Breast Tenderness *acne (usually less common after 3 months of treatment, and may improve if acne already exists) *back pain *low energy
The WITHDRAWAL side-effects are- 1.depression 2.migraines 3.anxiety 4.nausea 5.fatigue
i would suggest you to- -eat healthy.steer clear of things that are traditionally difficult to digest – dairy and breads -exercise in moderation -Test Hormone Levels -daily intake of vitamins -regular sleep schedules.
