Hi I am a 21 yr old female wondering what is a normal blood sugar level for myself, also does my sugar level have to be different from other people because I workout? I was concerned because I got tested last time and got a 62 on my sugar level and I had eaten breakfast at 11 an ice cream at 2 and got tested at about 330. I got worried cause people were asking me if I was feeling ok.. I just felt a little tired
Hi,
Thanks for posting your query.
Blood sugar generally vary if you perform at any time. Sugar level in blood varies with various parameters. You should go for fasting blood sugar (8 hours fasting is must) and postprandial sugar (2 hours after meal) for confirmation of diabetes mellitus.
You should also consult with physician/ endocrinologist.
Take care,
Dr.Mayank Bhargava
