Worried About Pregnancy. Urine And Blood Test Negative. Prescribed Bactrim-ds. Ectopic Pregnancy?
Hey.. I went to the ER a few days ago because I was thinking I m pregnant. I asked for an ultrasound but the doctor would not do it. They wanted to do it the cheapest way possible. The urine & blood test both came back negative.. But I think I may be having an ectopic pregnancy .. I got sent home with bactrim ds & a paper saying I need group therapy
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
As both your blood and urine tests are negative there is less possibility for pregnancy.
Ectopic pregnancy can also be diagnosed by these tests.
There may be any evidence of infection, for which they might have kept you on antibiotic therapy.
So after completion of the course, you once again consult your doctor and if the infection subsided completely then you can go for treatment to have children.
You have to plan unprotected intercourse around the time of your ovulation, which will increase the possibility of conception.
Take care.
