Bonista indicated in men or women with osteoporosis at a high risk for fracture or with a history of osteoporotic fracture, and for patients who have failed or not tolerant to other available osteoporosis therapy.
This is to treat and prevents weakening of bones, but calcium and Vitamin D level is required before starting Bonista.
Main side effects of Bonista (teriparatide) include headache, nausea, dizziness, and pain at injection site, but mostly this is a safe drug.
