Would Balancing The Neurotransmitters Increase Cognitive Abilities ?
My cognitive abilities are extremely diminished but the neurologist whom I saw, seems to think otherwise as I m fairly young and the thought of dementia or Alzheimer disease seems to be out of the question. I think its time to take matters into my own hand and search for alternatives which can boost acetylcholine levels and inhibit its breakdown. If I see improvements, would they be sustainable and reverse the cognitive impairment I truly believe I have? I wasn t diagnosed with any mental illness regarding learning or memory in the past as these were my strongest points but now that this has come into play, would balancing the neurotransmitters provide some relief?

Welcome to Healthcare Magic Forum
Please mention ur age, sex, and symptoms (atleast). You can see a homeopathic physician for "symptoms similar to dementia/alzheimers", it will surely help.
Sometimes, in the absence of positive lab/test findings , patient is left untreated , which is unfortunate. If there is a complaint/symptom it should be dealt with.
Takecare.
- Can't brush my teeth, take a shower or lay out my clothes
- Can't complete tasks or meet deadlines I have written down
- Can't take care of myself
- Lack of self discipline and will power
- Terrible memory recall and lapses
- Unaware of the date and time and quickly forget them
- No awareness or alertness
- Can't focus
- Slow response
- Too many stimuli overtaken the mind
- Cannot sleep
- Constant fatigue
- Pain in my eyes due to lack of sleep
- Visible veins and pale skin (lack of nutrition)
- Forget what to say or know what to say
- Don't enjoy what I previously did due to lack of passion
- Despair
- Forget what I'm told and wonder off
- Apathy, lethargy
The list can go on but I know that these symptoms can be identical to other mental and physical illnesses. I am going to take into account other areas which need to be optimize as my lack of food intake and sleep, only make the situation worst. I know the importance of a healthy diet which contains plenty of fruits and vegetables, fish, whole grain and a moderation of meat and dairy. I just don't have the capacity to do any of these things as my mind isn't focused on the importance it has on my overall health.
