Would Fatty Liver Due To High Alt Level Come Down After Stopping The Shot Of Vodka?

my alt is 62 and I have been drinking one shot of vodka every day. I have a fatty liver according to the sonogram. I take no medication. The Alt level was in the teens before I started taking voda. I stopped all alcohol. Should I expect the alt to go down?

Hi thanks for contacting HCM...

The alcohol might be contributory factor in fatty liver ....
Your weight should be estimated ....
If obese then also fatty liver can occur...
In some cases there might be idiopathic cause....

So yes first step is better to stop alcohol...
And if going to take then not over safe limit...
Regular exercise done...
Use less oil in cooking....
Sunflower , olive like good oil can be taken .
Fried food less.
Trans fat food like non veg , baked pestry , meat , butter , cheese etc taken very less.....
Refined food avoided.

Udiliv tablet can be taken....

With keeping this in mind consult gastroenterologist..

Take care.
