Would Flu Cause Elevated Bilirubin Levels?

I went to the ER a few nights ago with stomach pain, general weakness, nausea, diarrhea...basically the flu. I got Zofran and IV fluids and felt much better the next morning. Today I got a call that my bilirubin levels were elevated during my ER visit/bloodwork that night and need to have the bloodwork repeated in one week. Would the flu cause this elevation? I am not jaundiced. I also had my gallbladder removed 7 years ago.
