Would Hyperthyroidism Causes Premature Ejaculation?

Hi
I am suffering with problem of Premature ejaculation for last few months.

I have been diagnosed for hyperthyroidism and Medications (Thyronorm 50mcg/day) for last one year. Last time i checked my TSH levels (6 months back) were normal.

I dont know if hyperthyroidism is causing this or it is just coincidence that both symptoms were visible at once.

Hello there,
Thyroid hormone is an adrenergic hormone and it resembles the adrenaline hormone in some of its effects. There is a definite clinical co-relation seen in hyperthyroidism and premature ejaculation. Once your TSH and T3,T4 levels have stabilized you can consult a sexologist/andrologist about medication to decrease your premature ejaculation. There is also a set of exercises which will help you delay your ejaculation and these will have to be instructed to you by a doctor.

Hope this helps
