Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Would like to know that someone in my family was found to have Schwannomas and was told that part of the nerves needs to be removed as well along with the tumor, also a stand needs to be put in for purpose of support (but not sure why). Do you know if it's possible to leave the nerves intact during the surgery and also why the stand is needed?
