Would Minimal Urine Output Twice For A Urinalysis Test A Cause For Concern?

Hi. I m a 24 year old female. My urinalysis result says I have 4-5/hpf pus cells and normal should be 0-2/hpf pus cells. I don t feel any pain nor discomfort. I dont have U.T.I history either. I don t know if this has anything to do with this but when they asked me to give urine sample, I didnt feel like peeing yet but I forced but I was not able to fill the whole container, just about 1/4. So I said I ll come back after a few hours and so I did and peed on the same container. Do I have to worry? Or it might be just normal?

Hi,

The presence of pus cells without symptoms is called asymptomatic pyuria may not need treatment.

Symptoms of pus cells >6/hpf with symptoms of burning micturition, pain and cloudy urine may need to treat with antibiotics.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
