Would One Consider Fever, Cold, Body Aches And Sore Head As Early Signs Of HIV?
Hi,
I had unprotected sex with a guy 2 Saturdays ago and woke up the following Thursday (5 days later) with a sudden fever, aches and pains and a sore head. I had no cold like symptoms like a runny nose etc and now I am sacred it could've early signs of HIV.
Hi there, I understand your concern but symptoms you have described is too early for primary HIV and more consistent with common cold so chances of these symptoms is because of HIV is unlikely but I would advise you to go for a HIV test now and once after 6 months and keep precaution in future. Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
Wishing you good health.
