Would Previous Miscarriage Due To Prolapsed Cord Cause Difficulties In Planning Another Baby?
Hi,I had a low lying placenta at age 36 with the pregnancy of my second son after a 17yr gap but luckily he was healthy so was my first after a miscarriage..Third child I had a prolapsed cord which meant I had to deliver a beautiful boy at 19 weeks & 5 days, (not legit to be recognized as a human) which could not join us in this world..Just concerned if planning another could end up in the same result??

HI, Low lying placenta/cord prolapse need not recur in following pregnancy. You can plan for your next child with proper medical guidance, regular check ups in pregnancy. Only thing to be careful about is possibility of fetal abnormality in conception after 35 years age ( Mangolism)-- It has to be ruled out by Triple guard test after conception. Thanks.
