Would Protriptyline Be A Good Choice For Headaches/migraines?
I have daily headaches/migraines and have taken both amitriptyline and nortriptyline for them. Both work, but only for a few months each before I max out on the dosage. Would protriptyline be a good choice to suggest to my doctor since it is similar?
As all amitriptyline, nortriptyline and protriptyline are same group drugs and they benefited you for few months only, if i was your doctor i would have tried a different group of drug like SSRI group of drug. also try yoga, meditation to treat your tension headache. Daily walk in park for 15-30 min will help in keeping you calm. Medicines are temorary solution try to change your life style a bit if possible.
