Would The CBC Results Be Normal, If HIV Positive?

Hello, I am 29 years old, 5 6, 179 lbs and I am 3 months pregnant with my 2nd child. I also have a 9 yr old son. I ve had 2 cbc tests done this year and I just wanted to know if I was HIV positive would by CBC tests results be normal as they were?

Hi, I have gone through your question. The white blood cells reduce, especially the CD4 lymphocytes, in HIV infection and in AIDS. However, if someone is taking antiretroviral therapy, then the counts are maintained.
The counts are altered if there is some opportunistic infection due to HIV.
