Would The Growth Of The Baby Be Normal Having Low Amniotic Fluid And Thyroid?
Doc. There is complaint of low amniotic fluid. I m 25weeks pregnant. I m having thrive g and arg9 twice daily. Still the level is on borderline. Also thyroid has been detected during pregnancy n m having thyronorm 100 mcg once daily. The growth n weight of the baby is normal. I m worried
Dear Member, Thanks for writing to healthcare magic. oligohydramnios or low amniotic fluids is a cause for concern especially if it has happened so early in pregnancy. thrive g and arg 9 are the right drugs. considering your baby growth is normal ultrasound every 2 weeks is recommended. as you are on thyronorm and your hypothyroidism has been treated consider discussing with your doctor about a detailed ultrasound (level 2) along with Doppler of the fetal vessels. if they all come normal then it is reassuring.
