Would The High Wbc Count Be Leukemia?
hi I am just worried about my slightly high white blood count wbc is 12.6 reference range is 4.0-11.0 neutrophils is 70.6 reference range is 40.0-70.00 lymphpcytes is 21.8 reference range is 22.0-44.0 the rest of my bloodwork was in range just worried it could be leukemia this as been like this for years

My dear friend , usually leukemia is associated with very high white blood cell count.The white blood cell count 12.6 is not such high.Your neutrophils 70.6 percent looking in favor of mild infection that can be due to mild climate change also. To diagnose leukemia peripheral blood picture is very important.I advised you to do repeat complete blood cell count with peripheral blood picture/film. This will remove your all doubts.
