Would There Be Drug Interactions If Ginseng Is Taken With Effexor?

Hello! I am currently taking 225 milligrams of Effexor on a daily basis. I suffer from chronic fatigue and major depressive disorder. I search the internet for what could be a natural energy supplement and found rhodiola and Siberian ginseng. Will there be drug interactions if taking these medications with my effexor. If one of the two will not be detrimental please let me know that also thank you so very much

There is no absolute contraindication for taking Ginseng with Effexor. However, the two medications should be taken together with caution as they can increase serotonin levels in the body leading to anxiety, increased blood pressure, chest pain, breathing difficulty.
If you notice any such symptoms, discontinue Ginseng and seek medical care
