For years I have struggled to lose weight (and I mean struggled), after years of talking to my doctor about this problem and having shared my family history, his patented diagnosis was that I was getting older and with age comes weight gain. I am 46 years old and have always had an active lifestyle and being unable to simply accept this, I asked for more testing. Eventually, and over this past month it has become clear that, after going through a cath yesterday, that I will need to recieve at least 3 stents to clear the blockages in my arteries. My question is: That after years of struggling with unexplained weight gain, will I experience less resistance to weight loss after going through this operation?
