Would You Suggest A Light Jog Or Walk Having Type II Diabetes And Arthritis And On Metformin And Levothyroxine?

have Type II. Used run cross country in HS and college. Now I have arthritis, doc says no running, Can't afford pool membership. In college swam minimum of mile/day. Doc said ride bike. I don't have one anymore. Enjoyed it. Psychiatrist encourages bike riding. Don't have bike. Can walk or jog litely at best. Your reccomendations?
nan Take 500mg metformin twice daily. Levothyroxine 50mcgpat rising. Can you help me?

You should walk. I am not sure about the status of your arthritis. but i would go with your orthopedician. if he says no jogging, no running then you should simply walk.

swimming ofcourse remains a great exercise. and why dont you try the aerobic exercises? they are a great way of exercises

by the way, if you start exercising, you might as well check your sugars regularly. the dose of the metformin may need to be reduced
