In India HAving tuberculosis is not a thing of amaze. AS per the description It will not be a good thing to discontinue treatment after 3 months of therapy. X-ray chest is not best idea to judge progress of disease. Better you go for sputum examination. If sputum is not available or turns out to be negative, best thing you can do is to continue ATT for prescribed duration in your case it may be of 8 months. X-ray changes may persist after taking full treatment and cure from TB. HAving tuberculosis does not disqualifies form any job, provided lung functions are preserved to a acceptable limit for that job.
