Yamini Tablet Advised To Take For One Year. Any Adverse Effects ? Second Opinion ?

Hi Sir for how many days the Yamini tablet usage is safe? my doctor adviced to take for 1 year then to stop for 3 mnths and to continue again..... can you please suggest me whether she is right or not? why because i am feeling so much of weekness severe body pains also.... kindly please reply which helps me a lot? even i am worried that will it effect any worse when i really want pregnancy?

Hi Praveen,
Yamini is an oral contraceptive pill and will help only if your wife has irregular periods. This can have several side effects like Nausea, vomiting, bleeding between menstrual periods, weight gain, breast tenderness and thrombophlebitis, stroke, heart attack and angina pectoris, headache. Conceiving would not be possible when your wife is taking this tablet. If there is a problem conceiving, please see a gynaeoclogist. A detailed history and examination is needed.
