Years Ago My Doctor Prescribed Imipramine. I Went Into Anaphylactic

Years ago my doctor prescribed Imipramine. I went into anaphylactic shock. I had spots that began to swell into blisters, and I could breathe. My neurologist is familiar with my medical history. However, she prescribed Carbamazepin Er. I was reading the lengthy warning report provided by my pharmacist. It mentions do not take the drug if you are allergic to Imipramine. I only took one dosage so far. Should I continue to take the Carbamazepin, and see if I have a reaction?
