Yeast Infection, UTI, Cramps. How Could You Explain This?

I recently had intercourse, about a week ago, only my 4th or 5th time - the last two months. My first period was on time and normal. But this time, about a week before having sex the last time, I began experiencing yeast infection symptoms. They finally resided but as my period was approaching, I began experiencing UTI symptoms. My period has been relatively normal other than my cramps have been much worse than normal. Im also still experiencing UTI symptoms while on my period. What could be the explanation for this?

Hello,
thanks for using health care magic

Much help would have been offered to you had it been you stated the symptoms you consider as symptoms of yeast infection and those you also consider to be UTI symptoms.

However, yeast infection presents with cottage cheese creamy white discharges of mild to moderate abundance. It is associated with itch in most cases. Painful urination and sex is also common in yeast infections of the genital tract.

Urinary tract infections typically present with painful urination, feeling unable to hold urine when there is the urge to pass out urine, frequent urination in small quantities etc.
You might consider using the above to be more specific so i can better help you or consider meeting your doctor.

Best regards
Dr Achuo
