Hi There, thanks for asking. Somnabulism is a situation which also includes screaming during the night. Most of the cases are benign and resolve until mid teens, and they can be intensified in some periods of life like pregnancy. It is a separate disorder from anxiety disorders like panic disorder, but it definitely is enhanced with anxiety disorders. If your panic attacks are exclusively occur at night, a sleep study (with EEG monitoring) can show any possible underlying factor like seizure which might happen then. 20 percent of people who scream or talk during sleep have EEG abnormality and if you have nocturnal panics, the chance would be more. Many nocturnal seizures are benign and also they will be easily controlled. I wish you the best health.
