Yellow Discharge From Left Breast. What Is This ?

I have some breast discharge from my left breast..it is a clear (little bit yellow ) color...have done mammogram and ultrasound...everything looking good...my doctor said that anything serious...i am 47 years old...today i got a call from doctor and she said maybe we can do a ductectomy because i still have some discharge...i don't know what is that and how scary is this procedure..

It is understandable to be scared.

Ductectomy is a procedure where a duct is removed from the breast. It would allow your doctor to determine the cause of the discharge.
The duct which is involved in the breast discharge can be identified prior to the procedure.

The procedure is simple , involving a small incision usually in the nipple. The recovery period is short and your results should be available within a few days to a week.

Breast discharge can be due to benign (non cancerous ) causes but there are also potentially more serious causes that should be ruled out.
This test can do this for you.
