Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Yes, I have just had a kidney stone laser blasted and was given a Rx for Potassium (Pota Citrate Cr 1080mg), as well as Oxybutynin, and I am on Enalapril for blood pressure (several years). I'm reading that these 2 medicines do not work together and the potassium does not work well with my blood pressure medicine. I am also on ciprofloxacn, and Tamsulosin. Strangely I was not prescribed any pain medications though. What will happen if I take all of these medicines when I am already on Enalapril and Metformin for diabetes. I am 65 yr old and had a 1.9 cm kidney stone removed by ureteroscopy.
