Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
a few weeks ago I was darting quickly to get away from a swarm of red hornets and thought I suffered a charlie horse cramp in my left calf. I went to the er with severe swelling, tightness which eventually turned black and blue; an ultrasound showed no blood clot. the pain and swelling slowly dissapated and I could walk normally within about 3 weeks. Now that the initial tightness and swelling is completely gone I have noticed I am left with a bulging muscle look and chronic swollen appearance to my upper calf.. can you tell me what this is?
