Allodynia My Mother Had A Stroke June 9 And Has

allodynia
my mother had a stroke June 9 and has developed extreme painful sensitivity to being touched in the affected right hemiplegic limbs. Even the lightest touch with fabric is excruciating. She is being given strong pain relief but it doesn't touch the painful skin sensations. Is there some way to retrain the brain to stop those pain signals, or is there something else I can do to relieve her symptoms? (she is 85)
