at night I wake up with a dry cough and will continue to cough for at least an hour sometimes longer. the more I cough the tighter my lungs become making it harder for me to breathe, and harder at returning to bed without gasping for air. My doctor says allergies, but I disagree. I never had these symptoms until I went to jail for a Failure to Appear for alimony. I was there for 16 days. After being released about a month later these symptoms started, but now they are more severe. It has now been 4 years. What should I do?
