I usually do not smoke but when i have a few alcoholic drinks i do have a few ,the next day i can barely breath and even feel as though i should go to the hospital,this is the reason i gave up smoking 10 years ag, it just started happening and it happens every time i smoke,do i have an allergic reaction to tobacco,if there is such a thing?

Dear Member
You may be allergic to the components in smoke/cigarettes. The allergic reaction might be causing Asthma kind of symptoms. If you have no symptoms when you are not smoking you don't need any investigations. If the breathing is very bad, take Benadryl and request your GP for prescription for Albuterol inhaler.
