Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
can shin splints be caused by heel spurs if my heel does not hurt but my shin does? A little history- I had plantar fasciitis on left heel for 5 years finally after trying everything by doctor suggested surgery 9 months after surgery I could finally get back to jogging with no pain at all. I started jogging again last April and in August my shin on right foot hurt so I stopped for 2 weeks but when I started jogging again it hurt so I stopped again until 2 weeks ago still hurt so I contacted dr he took an x-ray and said I had heel spurs and to rest and to have physical therapy which I am concerned about because when I had physical therapy for the plantar fasciitis it did not help at all
any suggestions for my hurt shin on my right leg? thank you Tim
