Hard Lump On Head. I Am Concerned. Any Info Would Be Appreciated.
My 22 yr. old son showed me a hard raised immovable, almost ridged lump on his head, and another on his back near his spine. they are starting to be a little painful and have been there for a while. He is in general good health. He doesnt want to go to the Dr. but I am concerned. Any info would be appreciated

These bumps may be due to enlarge lymph nodes.
He might have some infection on the head like dandruff or skin infection on the head,causing lymph node enlargement.
Find out the cause and treat accordingly.

u need to consult surgeon
as it is hard and some pain is there ,it may be sebaceous cyst with infection
as he has no other complain means it is local only and not spreading
tell him not to pick or pop it as it may induce infection.
until apply only antibiotic cream over it twice a day
