Have Type 2 Diabetes, Hg1ac Is 66. Blood Sugar Typically

have type 2 diabetes, hg1ac is 66. Blood sugar typically is a little over high limits. Have loose skin on the inside of a big toe that will not go away. It started when I pulled the inside part of the nail off and it bled, but never totally healed. Have had a cut on the same toe on the outer edge and it healed quickly. It was never infected, hurt, or bothered me except that I know it is there. Thinking that maybe cortisone applications may help.
