hello, I have a client that is 73 years old, diagnosed with depression at a young age, and bi-polar. She had cervical cancer at the age of 28, is currently taking 300 mg of trazodone for sleep, and namenda, as she has been diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, a long time ago. In my research and working with clients for the last 37 years, I do not believe she has Alzheimer's at all, because if someone is diagnosed young, 25 years ago, she would not be able to remember as much as she does about recent events, places etc...
She also lost her son to suicide in 1989, and had PTSD, I think she may have the memory loss due to disassociative amnesia. She also lost her mother young as well, when she was a little girl. She she's the neurologist soon,
