I have a concerning question!

So 3 weeks ago, I had a cyst in the back of my throat (doesn't bother me) and I decided that I will try to pop it with something sharp. I had a math compass near me so I took the sharp end of it and I tried popping the cyst but It didn't work. The day after that my throat got swollen, and then I got pale. This week my lymph node glands are swollen (not that much). I went online and searched up swollen throat, lymph nodes and it said that it could be HIV, cancer, and horrible diseases. Is that true? I'm really concerned and I want an answer.
