Hey. On My Shaft There Is A Lump That Has

hey. on my shaft there is a lump that has been growing and it started hurting after I masturbated, its growing out more and it feels like a bone, or a hard vein, I don't know but should I ask my doctor about it? cuz I'm scared to talk to anyone about it. When its flaccid I can barely feel it, but when I'm fully erect I can feel it and its on the left side under the sulcus, also its in the shape of a greater than sign. Help plz
