Tobacco chewing can lead to many hazards.
It can cause precancerous lesion such as Oral Submucous fibrosis (OSMF), once the lesion is formed it never cures, rather it worsens in time even if you discontinue the habit.
Oral cancers are also caused due to use of tobacco, so i would advise you to discontinue the habit and get the checkup done.
Hope this helps out.
Regards..

Hello and Welcome to HCM,
Thanks for writing to us.
Stained teeth and bad breath are just the first on the list of side effects of chewing tobacco. Sores in the mouth and on the gums and different dental problems are right behind them. Also, if there are some dental problems to begin with, sugar that is added to better the taste tobacco can make those problems even worse. Not only does chewing tobacco affect the ability to taste and smell, but it also puts people in risk of getting oral cancer. This, of course, happens if tobacco is being used for a long time. Having a prolonged sore throat and difficulty while chewing are some indicators of oral cancer development.
Heart attack and stroke are also side effects that can be caused by chewing tobacco, because it can cause the arteries to constrict.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health...
Regards.

Hello,
Thanks for writing to us.
Side effects of chewing tobacco are:-
stained teeth, bad breath, sores on the gums and in the mouth that are stubborn to heal and other dental problems.
The habit can also affect a person's ability to taste and smell. After prolonged use there is a risk of developing oral cancer which may become apparent through a sore that does not heal, a white patch, prolonged sore throat, difficulty chewing, or a feeling there is a lump in the throat.
The most serious health risk associated with the smokeless habit is cancer.
Hope this helps you.
Wishing you good health...
Regards.
