hi i am 48 and have been having a little irregular heavy bleeding for last one year. though the cycle seems to be fairly regular with a 50 days pattern from nov14 to june 15 it again regularised to a 28 days cycle from june 15 to dec 15. the problem is that the duration of the bleeding at times is 28 days with 2 weeks staining then 12 to 14 days heavy. from dec 15 the cycle which had normalised to 10 to 12 days of bleeding again extended to the 28 days pattern. for last one year i have been having regular tvs and in the last report dated dec 15 there was acoarse echotexture of the myometrium and the endometrial lining was8mm. there is no anomaly detected in the tvs reports. what does this mean? because of extended menstrual durations there seems to be little comfort from one cycle to the next though the cycles are fairly regular. for some years now i have been having perimenopausal symptoms too. kindly help and guide.
