i had a TRANSVAGINAL ULTRASOUND AND THIS IS MY RESULT..
Uterus ; 6.7x 4.8x4.4 cm retroverted
Cervix : 2.0x2.5x2.8 cm without nabothian cyst.
Endometrium: 1.9cm
Right ovary : 3.3x2.5x2.0 cm lateral (volume =8.2 cc )
Letf ovary ; 2.7x2.1 cm lateral (volume =5.9cc)
Others; no free fluid in the cul de sac.
REMARKS:
The uterus is retroverted with regular contour and homogenous my0metrium.
There are no myometrial masses seen.
The cervix is closed and homogenous.
The endometrium is thick and hyperechoic and contains minimal cystic spaces suggestive of hyperplastic change. The endomyometrial interface is intact.
Both ovaries are lateral to the uterus and contain m0re than 12 m0stly subcapsular follicles measuring less than 1.0cm in diameter with dense stroma suggestive of bilateral multicystic ovaries.
There are no adnexal masses seen.
There is no free fluid in the cul de sac.
Impression ;
Normal sized retroverted uterus
Thickened hyperechoic endometrium with minimal cystic spaces. Consider hyperplastic change please correlate with pregnancy test to rule out early pregnancy /early gestational trophoblastic disease.
Bilateral multicystic ovaries, as described.
No adnexal masses seen in this scan.
No cul de sac fluid.
Please correlate clinically.
