hi, i have been taking citalopram since past 2 years, i started off with 40mg and now at 5mg per day. recently my wife had to take an abortion due to a birth defect (Vantricales dialated/ Dandy walker) diagnosed during the anomaly scan of the fetus. my wife is of the opinion that this happened due to the drug i am taking. i have searched the internet and found nothing regarding the citalopram excretion through semen. please guide me whether i should stop taking it as we are planning a baby but my wife says she wont get pregnant until i stop taking citalopram.
