hi my son was brushing his teeth and was trying to put on his shoes at the same time. silly i know. and he hit the toothbrush against his knee and it went to the back of his throat and hit just above his uvula. his nose started to bleed and he spit out blood. I tilted his head forward but it didnt bleed that much. I looked in the back and it was purplish and red around where the toothbrush hit. I also noticed blood dripping in the back of his throat. This happened two days ago. I looked at it now and it looks white and red around it. it hurts for him to swallow. I had him gargle with salt water and gave him ibuprofen. Is there a need for concern?
